International Students
As you read, University of Saint Joseph is rapidly getting bigger and better. Along with the new campus underway – all being well, in late 2014 – is the increase of more and more international students and professors in the university.
We have students and teachers from all over the world, including Brazil, China, Israel, Hong Kong, Macau, Sierra Leone, Korea, Portugal, Ghana, Spain, Russia, Czech Republic, Philippines, Nigeria, and so much more. Learning in such a culturally diverse environment of students makes learning not only fun, but also richer in terms of looking into academic modules in multiple cultural perspectives. As the Rector have stated “…our privilege and mission is to introduce them [the students] to a university environment where they learn to analyse, question, evaluate and decide in the context of consciously assimilated values and culture.”
USJ is fully committed to bring the richness of its education into the learning system with its deep academic insight, experience and innovative teaching methods. The fact that we have world class and highly connected teachers and practitioners from all over the world, and students with rich cultural values, makes USJ indeed a unique platform for student learning.
Scholarships are also offered to students who require financial aid and as positive reinforcements to encourage students who are achieving excellence in their academic life. The community of Macau also joins USJ in this goal. To know more go to USJ Community Scholarships.
