On the April 22, the whole USJ Community including the participants from its students, staff and their friends and family members participated in “USJ International Cultural Fair – Experience different cultures in USJ”, a cultural event that was held in NAPE 1 Garden. More than 60 students and staff of different nationalities volunteered to provide and serve food and many groups from the students and performers from different cultural backgrounds also performed at the fair. Participants were given an opportunity to taste dishes and enjoy song and dance performances from around the world. Moreover, many participants also wore their country’s traditional costume during the event. The event also attracted students from our universities and local communities from minorities nationalities to join.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for participating and contributing in the USJ International Cultural Fair 2016 on April 22, 2016. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to make the event a success and their support has made this a meaningful and memorable event for all participants. It is a great pleasure and honour to have the Bishop of Macau Stephen Lee and Rector Fr. Peter Stilwell attended this event and visited many student booths during the event.
