The Public Lecture “A talk on comparative study of prepositions between Portuguese and Chinese Language” will take place on Friday, 15 November in the Media Lab- Classroom 604.
About the Talk:
The talk focuses on a study of the similarity and difference of prepositions between Portuguese and Chinese languages. The study was conducted in a comparative and cognitive perspective combined with error classification and analysis of authentic examples from classes of Portuguese as a second language by Chinese students in Macau.
About the Speaker:
Viviana Han is currently a Ph.D. candidate at University of Macau, in Applied Linguistics. Her research focuses mainly on the study of Comparative Linguistics between Chinese and Portuguese and Cognitive Linguistics.
