The USJ Career Fair 2023 is to be held on March 20 at the Ilha Verde campus.

This year, the USJ Career Fair will be held on 20 March 2024, featuring 1,000+ jobs from around 30 enterprises and organisations for students and alumni who are seeking job opportunities.

Q. I am currently a Year 1 student. Am I eligible to attend the Career Fair?
Students from all graduation years are encouraged to attend the event, where you can engage in personality tests and activity booths and explore your interests in either your study field or career path.

Q. I don’t have a Macau Resident Identity Card (BIR). Is the Career Fair useful for me?
Certain companies offer positions that are open to non-residents of Macao. If you do not have a BIR, you are still encouraged to attend the event, learn about different industries, and gain insights into the job market in Macao. The Career Fair also provides a platform for students to make connections, gather information, and explore potential career paths.

Q. I currently have no plans for employment and intend to further my studies. Is the Career Fair essential for me?
In addition to the employment information, the Career Fair includes information on further education, entrepreneurship and self-awareness, while also providing valuable insights into the job market, industry trends, and networking opportunities. Attending the Career Fair will greatly benefit your academic journey.

Q. What should I prepare for the Career Fair?
Research the participating companies in advance, which will help you tailor your approach; update and bring along your CV or portfolio; prepare a concise and persuasive introduction about yourself; dress in professional attire that aligns with the expectations of the industry or companies you are targeting; and prepare a list of thoughtful questions to ask employers that can demonstrate your interest and engagement.
