The “Ilha Verde Saint Joseph United Team” won the championship of the gold cup by defeating the Bosco Youth Service Network in the Diocesan Youth Cup Basketball Match on the 20th of November.
The “Ilha Verde Saint Joseph United Team”, formed by the Saint Joseph Diocese College 6 and the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men’s division teams, won the championship of the gold cup by defeating the Bosco Youth Service Network in the Diocesan Youth Cup Basketball Match, hosted by the Macau Diocese Youth Preparation Committee. The final game day of the Diocesan Youth Cup basketball competition took place on the 20th of November.
In addition, USJ defeated St. Lazarus’ Church team in the last match of the same day, achieving the runner-up position.
The Most Reverend Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-sang, Chancellor of USJ, and the Rev’d Professor Stephen Morgan, Rector of USJ, attended the games and the award ceremony to support the players.
