Today, I am honored to stand here on behalf of the 2024 PGDE programme graduates and share with you the highlights of our journey.
Personally, before enrolling in the PGDE programme, I obtained an MBA degree from USJ and worked at the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) at USJ for several years. These experiences not only forged a deep bond between me and USJ but also established an irreplaceable significance in my life.

The past year of the PGDE programme has been a marvelous voyage. Each professor has been our guiding light, directing our small boats through the ocean of knowledge. Their expertise and dedication have been truly admirable, benefiting us immensely. Our classmates came from diverse backgrounds and professions, some are fresh graduates while others are experienced professionals. The fact that we could meet here, learn together, and grow together has been a wonderful blessing.
In our class, we have engaged in countless discussions, whether it be the collision of educational philosophies or the exploration of teaching methods. Each interaction has deepened our understanding of the essence of education. The group assignments have reminded us of the value of teamwork and how to leverage individual strengths in cooperation. The collaboration among members with different professional backgrounds has provided us with diverse inspirations. This diversity has enriched our perspectives and deepened our understanding of the diversity and inclusivity of education. We have not only acquired knowledge but also developed the professional competence to transform that knowledge into teaching practices.
However, this journey was not without challenges. Many of us have faced multiple pressures from academics, work, and family. In the face of such challenges, we have learned how to balance the demands from various aspects of life and how to maintain resilience and optimism in difficult times.
During this year, we have witnessed our own growth and transformation. Some classmates have chosen to become educators, imparting knowledge and values to students. Some have chosen different professions, pursuing diverse life goals. Some are still awaiting teaching positions but remain confident about the future. And some have chosen to continue their studies and further expand the possibilities in their lives.
Reflecting on this journey, we have gained not only professional knowledge but also a deep passion for education and a sense of responsibility. With the advent of the AI era, the ways and contents of education are constantly evolving. The application of AI technology has not only enhanced teaching effectiveness but also provided educators with more time and energy to focus on students’ holistic development. AI assistance allows us to better assess students’ performance, provide timely feedback, and help them overcome learning difficulties.
However, the changes brought by AI also present new challenges to us as educators. We need to constantly learn and enhance our digital skills and literacy to stay competitive in this rapidly changing era. We are not only responsible for imparting knowledge but also for cultivating students’ creativity, collaboration skills, and critical thinking, enabling them to stand out in future workplaces.
Looking ahead, each of us has our own dreams and goals. I hope that everyone will persist in their beliefs and never give up regardless of the difficulties encountered. Life is about having no regrets, and dreams are boundless. As long as we continue to strive, the future will surely be filled with hope and possibilities.
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to all the people who have supported and helped us — professors, classmates, family, and friends. Today, we officially graduate, and it is your support that has enabled us to persevere on this path and has made all the students present here today become well-equipped teachers or aspiring educators.
Wishing everyone of you to forge ahead fearlessly and achieve your dreams on your future journeys!

今天,我很榮幸能站在這裡,代表2024年PGDE課程的畢業生,分享我們這段旅程的點點滴滴。
就我個人而言,在就讀PGDE課程之前,我曾於USJ取得MBA學位,並在USJ的學生及校友事務處(OSAA)工作了多年。這些經歷不僅讓我與USJ結下了深厚的情誼,更讓USJ在我人生旅中旅途無可取代的重要地位和意義。
這一年的PGDE課程如同一場奇妙的航程,每一位教授都是我們的燈塔,指引我們一艘艘航行的小船在知識的海洋中前行。他們的專業和敬業精神無不讓人欽佩,令我們受益匪淺。同學們來自不同的背景和專業,有些是初出茅廬的年輕人,有些則是經驗豐富的精英。我們能在這裡相遇,共同學習,共同成長,也是一段美妙的緣分。
在課堂上,我們進行了無數次的討論,無論是教育理念的碰撞還是教學方法的探索,每一次都讓我們更加深入地理解教育的真諦。小組合作讓我們學會了團隊精神,懂得了如何在協作中發揮個人所長。不同專業背景成員間的合作讓我們獲得了更多元的啟發,這種多樣性不僅豐富了我們的視野,也讓我們更深入地理解了教育的多樣性和包容性。我們學到的不僅僅是知識,更是如何將這些知識轉化為教學實踐的專業能力。
然而,這段旅程並非一帆風順。我們中許多人都面臨著學業、工作及家庭的多重壓力。在這樣的挑戰面前,我們學會了如何平衡各方面的需求,如何在困難中保持堅韌與樂觀。
這一年,我們見證了自己的成長和變化。有的同學選擇了成為教師,在學校傳授知識及價值觀;有的選擇了其他專業,追求不同的人生目標;有的仍在等待教席,但依然對未來充滿信心;還有的選擇繼續學習進修,為自己的人生增添更多的可能性。
回顧這段旅程,我們收穫的不僅是專業知識,還有對教育的熱愛和責任感。隨著人工智能時代的降臨,教育的方式和內容也在不斷演變。AI技術的應用,不僅提升了教學效果,也讓我們教師有了更多的時間和精力來關注學生的全面發展。AI的輔助讓我們能更好地評估學生的表現,及時提供反饋,幫助學生克服學習中的難點。
然而,AI帶來的變革也對我們教師提出了新的挑戰。我們需要不斷學習,提升自己的數字技能及素養水平,才能夠在這個快速變化的時代中保持競爭力。我們不僅要傳授知識,還要培養學生的創造力、協作能力及審辯思維,讓他們能夠在未來的職場中脫穎而出。
展望未來,我們每一個人都有自己的夢想和目標。希望大家都能堅持心中的信念,無論遇到什麼困難,都不要放棄。「人生無悔,夢想無限」,只要我們不斷努力,未來一定會充滿希望及可能。
最後,我要感謝所有支持和幫助過我們的人,感謝教授、同學、家人和朋友,我們今天正式畢業了,是你們的支持讓我們能夠在這條道路上堅持走下去,讓今天在座的同學們都已成為裝備好的教師或準教師。
