Clean the World and Las Vegas Sands Corps. partner with ISE
Clean the World and Las Vegas Sands Corps. partner with the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of University of Saint Joseph (USJ) to investigate ways to enhance coastal water quality through nature-based solutions.
This project was developed within the framework of the Drop by Drop Project that reinvests capital from water stewardship efforts into innovative projects. ISE/USJ researchers are carrying out field investigations and mesocosm experiments in collaboration with Prof. Cristina Calheiros (CIIMAR).
Moreover, public awareness campaigns to promote the concept of nature-based solutions (NBS replica Rolex) through public talks, organised field trips for students, and other members of the local community, mangrove exhibition, and NBS workshops are underway.
