Design Alumnus granted "China National Intellectual Property Certificate" for graduation project

The graduation project, titled “M3 BOX”, created by Bachelor of Design alumnus, Mr Jerry U, successfully obtained the Patent Certificate.
On the 16th of March 2021, Mr. Jerry U (U Seng Hei), Bachelor of Design alumnus of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of Creative Industries, was issued with a Registered Design Intellectual Property Certificate for his graduation project. The Patent was granted by the “China National Intellectual Property Administration”.
The graduation project titled “M3 BOX” is multifunctional furniture that can unfold into a dining table, a workstation, or a coffee table.
In late 2020, his design was also awarded the “Innovative Furniture Certificate for Concept Design” in the 2020 Foshan Mayor Cup nationwide Industrial Design Competition.
