On the 27th of January, members from the Sunday School of Saint Francis Xavier Parish (Mong Ha), visited the USJ Ilha Verde Campus on a guided tour.
The unique role of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) as a family-friendly Catholic higher education institution was on display once again on the 27th of February, 2022. Around 210 pupils, together with their parents/guardians and teachers from the Sunday School of Saint Francis Xavier Parish (Mong Ha), came to visit the Ilha Verde Campus for a guided tour.
The tour was supported by Colégio Diocesano de São José 6 (CDSJ6) and USJ staff members. Mr. Ben Lei from the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs gave a presentation to the visitors at the Auditório Centenário de Fátima about USJ’s history, programmes, and student life before visiting the Holy Cross Chapel.
During the Chapel visit, USJ staff members introduced the architectural design of the building and the Mass schedule. Afterward, the Vigário Paroquial and one of USJ Chaplains, Father Rafael Gemelli Vigolo MCCJ, led a prayer with psalm and hymns.
On behalf of USJ, Mr. Ben Lei received a gratitude card and donation from the Sunday School. After the praise and blessing of the Lord, the families then enjoyed the sunshine with outdoor photo shooting.
