About SISAY
“SISAY” is a Neo Folklore/Latin ensemble powerhouse musician from Ecuador who has rooted Native American ancestry – Imbayas family. This charismatic and beautiful Ensemble produces Music full of life, spirit, and energy. Their brand new sound makes people feel nostalgic and refreshes their spirit.
SISAY is awarded by appointment of the Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a “The Culture and Music Ambassadors of Ecuador.” From 2005.
In both 2005 and 2006, at two of their homeland most acclaimed music festivals, the Pawkar Raymi(2005) and Equinoccio (2005), they won numerous grammyesque awards including Best Traditional Music, Best Arrangement, Best Instrumental, and Song of the Year (2006).
