USJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Goldsmiths’ College.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Goldsmiths’ College. This collaboration aims to explore the cultural diplomacy and policy that USJ has been building over the years between the Lusophone World and China.
In the near future, one of the objectives of this profitable partnership will be the development of a project focused on luxury brand management, subsequently collaboration to promote academic activities, collaborative research and other projects, staff exchange, progression agreements and summer schools.
With more than two centuries of educational legacy, Goldsmiths, University of London, officially the Goldsmiths’ College, was initially founded in 1891 as “The Goldsmiths’ Technical and Recreative Institute” by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in New Cross, London. It was renamed Goldsmiths’ College after being acquired by the University of London in 1904 and specialises in the arts, design, humanities and social sciences. The main building on campus, known as the Richard Hoggart Building, was originally opened in 1792 and is the site of the former Royal Naval School. Goldsmiths campus is located in London, one of the most diverse cities in the world, where more than 300 languages are spoken daily.
