The Zhuhai College of Science and Technology delegation visited the University of Saint Joseph’s Green Campus on June 8 2023.
The Zhuhai College of Science and Technology (ZCST) delegation visited the University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ) on June 8 2023. The delegation was led by the President of ZSCT, Professor Liu Ming and includes Professor Li Junjiang, Vice President, Dean of Business School; Professor Liang Yanchun, Dean of the School of Computer Science; Professor Yu Yaqin, Dean of the School of Health; Professor Hu Wenzhong, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Food Science; Mr.Zhao Chengguo Director of Scientific Research Department; Mr.Li Zi Deputy Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office and Mr. Wu Dekai Chief of the Secretarial Section of the Party and Government Office.
USJ Vice-rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, together with Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Prof. Jenny Phillips, and Head of Lab for Applied Neuroscience, Prof. Alexandre Lobo, met with the delegation to discuss possible future cooperation in neuroscience, health science research and exchange of students in applicable programmes.
President Liu expressed the uniqueness he had heard about USJ and was impressed by the multiculturalism present at USJ. Professor Barbosa and Prof. Jenny Philips look forward to collaborating with ZCST and bridging projects from the Greater Bay Area with those in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries.
