The University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu on September 8th, 2023.
In the context of cultivating academic cooperation relations, the Rector of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), Reverend Professor Stephen Morgan, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Prof. Jenny Phillips, and the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV), Professor José dos Santos Costa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 8th, September 2023 at the premise of Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Portugal.
Both Institutions aim to foster International Service-Learning and Global Programmes and academic Mobility among Students, Faculty, and technical staff in various areas, such as Innovation, Technology, Economic Development, Business and Administration, likewise promote joint research activities and publications.
The signing ceremony was attended by other members of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, the Vice President, Professor João Vinhas and the International Relations Officer, Mrs. Helena Rodrigues.

The “Polytechnic Institute of Viseu is the first and only public higher education institution in the district of Viseu, marking an important development milestone for the region of Viseu and today is an essential reference of the City of Viseu and its entire region”.
