Alumni from Guinea-Bissau Shine at the “2023 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair” Highlighting USJ’s and Macao’s fairs Unique Charisma and Contributing to Economic Diversification
The annual “2023 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair (2023GMBPF)”, jointly organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, was succesfully held from July 27 to 30, 2023. The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) played an active role in promoting the 2023GMBPF and was honored to be a supporting organization for the “Guangdong & Macao Outstanding Young Persons Award Presentation Ceremony.”
With the goal of fostering a profound comprehension of Macao’s “1+4” strategy for diversified development to better integrate into overall national development, in this edition of 2023GMBPF, USJ took part in thematic initiative “Young people at Guangdong & Macao Branded Products”.
Collaborating with media platforms such as Meitu and Guangdong Zhujiang Economic Radio, USJ produced a series of captivating short videos and participated in live broadcast during the Fair. alumni members of USJ from Portuguese-speaking countries, who not only showcased the distinctive charm and passion of USJ, also interacted with numerous exhibitors and hosts from Guangdong and Macao and spotlighted the fair’s highlights and exhibitors. These videos culminating in the creation of remarkable works that were duly acknowledged with the prestigious “Best Screenplay Award.” and awarded July 29th, 2023, during the “Guangdong & Macao Outstanding Young Persons Award Presentation Ceremony.”
The “Guangdong&Macao Outstanding Young Persons Award Presentation Ceremony” is organized by the Macau New Economic Union, with the support of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Meitu, Guangdong Zhujiang Economic Radio, Macao Weekly News, Qingyuan Qingxin District Media Center, and the University of Saint Joseph of Macau. The winning video creations will be broadcasted on the platform of Meitu, the flagship program “I want to go to Macao” of Guangdong Zhujiang Economic Broadcasting Station, and the Macao Weekly.
