USJ donated MOP 10,000 to the Macau Special Olympics (MSO) to support the event and encourage MSO’s athletes development.
To promote and enhance social inclusion of people with disabilities, the “CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day 2023” was held on 5 November 2023 at the Macao Federation of Trade Unions Workers Stadium.
This year, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) donated MOP 10,000 to the Macau Special Olympics (MSO) to support the event and encourage MSO’s athletes development. Dr. Alejandro Salcedo Garcia, the Administrator of USJ, attended the Charity Cheque Presentation Ceremony on the day.
The competition includes Football and Bocce tournaments. USJ was invited to participate in the Bocce tournament. The USJ team members, Lin Qiting (Bachelor of Business Administration), Cassone Thaik (Master of Architecture), Scott James Messinger ( Master of History & Heritage Studies), enjoyed the bocce game with the MSO members.
