Short Bio

Albert HO Ka-Fai, SDB, is a Salesian priest who has been appointed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy. He holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Saint Joseph, a Master's degree in Social Science specializing in Youth Counselling from Hong Kong Baptist University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Hong Kong Baptist University.

He has been providing teaching services at the University of Saint Joseph for over seven years. His contributions span the School of Education, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy, where he has taught various modules and supervised students. Additionally, he has conducted seminars on suicide prevention organized by Direcção dos Serviços de Educação e Juventude and Catholic schools. Beyond his academic responsibilities at USJ, he has over ten years of teaching experience in Catholic secondary schools. Furthermore, he has provided clinical supervision services at Hong Kong Shue Yan University and Hong Kong Baptist University.

His research interests include the spiritual analysis of dreams, incorporating psychological references, and exploring Cognitive Therapy.
