USJ Presented the “QR Goat Project” at the Venetian Macao Seasons of Prosperity Opening Ceremony 2015

The USJ/FCI QR Goat Project will be on display at The Venetian Macao until March 1st, 2015 on the bridge way outside the facilities. After this period, the QR Goat will be transferred to Nam Van Lake area.

Professor Álvaro Barbosa Dean of USJ Faculty of Creative Industries and 4^th Year communication and media Student Suraphon Kanyukt (Justin) represented the University of Saint Joseph last February 5, 2015 at the Venetian Macau Seasons of Prosperity Opening Ceremony 2015.

The USJ/FCI QR Goat Project will be on display at The Venetian Macao until March 1^st, 2015 on the bridge way outside the facilities. After this period, the QR Goat will be transferred to Nam Van Lake area.

Indeed, all the process represented an outstanding academic experience due to the fact that both professors and students were highly involved in the creative outcome, resolving technical and design challenges. However, the process did not stop here. In fact, the QR Goat project, will move forward with another academic data research that will be announced in due time.The creative process, the planning development, and the project execution involved a team of 12 individuals, 30 working days, a 3D printing, high precision laser cutting, vinyl cutter, and stenciling techniques, graffiti painting.

The USJ/FCI QR Goat Project Team has been awarded with a recognition gift (figure 3), and therefore takes this opportunity to convey a special gratitude to all our supporters, namely Professor Álvaro Barbosa Dean of USJ Faculty of Creative Industries, Professor José Manuel Simões coordinator of bachelor in communication and media, Professor Thomas Daniell coordinator of bachelor in architecture and bachelor in design, visiting lecturer Cristina Dias, Elisa Vilaça (Casa de Portugal em Macau), Kitty Chan, Cherry Cheong, Anno Caprum curators, The Venetian Macao, and Rui de Abreu.orking days, a 3D printing, high precision laser cutting, vinyl cutter, and stenciling techniques, graffiti painting.
