Representatives from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) and the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) share insights on Macroeconomic Data Collection and Statistical Analysis.
On the 19th of April, 2024, the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) invited the representatives of the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) and the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) to deliver a lecture to master students on the subject of macro data collection, statistical analyses, and the current economic trends of Macao.
The presentations of Ms. Liza Yu and Mr. Wilson Leong (Promotion & Data Dissemination, DSEC) and Ms. Carol Choi (Economist, AMCM) are particularly relevant to Master of Business Administration (MBA) students undertaking the module “Economics & Complexity in Organizations,” taught by Prof. Florence Lei, in which macroeconomic data are analysed and interpreted.
