ISE Hosts Thesis Orientation and BBQ Party for Master's Students

Prof. Karen Tagulao along with other esteemed professors from ISE, provided detailed guidance on selecting thesis topics and invited alumni who graduated from ISE to share their invaluable insights on thesis preparation and post-graduation career prospects.



Sponsored by Macao Foundation, and hosted by the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE), Catholic Foundation for Higher Education – University of Saint Joseph recently organised an informative and engaging thesis orientation for the Master’s programme on the 17th of May, 2024. Prof. Karen Tagulao, Programme Coordinator for the Master of Environmental Sciences and Management, along with other esteemed professors from ISE, provided detailed guidance on selecting thesis topics and invited alumni who graduated from ISE to share their invaluable insights on thesis preparation and post-graduation career prospects. The event also attracted the participation of students from the Bachelor of Environmental Science (BES) as well.

Following the conclusion of the thesis orientation, a delightful BBQ party was held at the Nape campus for the ISE students. The party offered an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for students, professors, and alumni to engage in meaningful conversations, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

The attendees of the event also include Vice-rector of USJ Dr. Teresa Loong Dean of ISE Prof. David Gonçalves,  Programme Coordinator for BES Prof. Thomas Lei. ISE’s Prof. Alexandre Lebel, and Prof. Franz Gassner from the Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy.
