Department of Languages and Culture holds end of year dinner for students of Bachelor of Portuguese-Chinese Translation Studies

The Portuguese Language and Culture Modules I and II of the Bachelor of Portuguese-Chinese Translation Studies programme were concluded with a celebratory dinner, attended by students, faculty, and special guests. The event highlighted the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity at the university.
On the 20th of May, the Department of Languages and Culture of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of USJ concluded its modules of Language and Culture of the Lusophone Countries I and II with a celebratory dinner gathering. Organised by mother and daughter Maria Veríssima Oliveira and Camila Oliveira, Lecturer of the Guimarães Rosa Institute at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, who prepared authentic Brazilian feijoada, the gathering offered the students the opportunity to experience a brazillian gastronomic and cultural moment.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), Prof. Carlos Sena Caires, the Head of the Department of Languages and Culture, Prof. Tânia Ribeiro Marques, and Prof. Viviana Han of FAH. It was a true celebration of the linguistic and cultural diversity that USJ holds value to.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s presence. The participation of each student and guest made this moment even more special and memorable.

Encerramento dos Módulos de Língua e Cultura dos Países de Língua Portuguesa I e II do Curso de Estudos em Tradução Português-Chinês do Departamento de Línguas e Culturas da Faculdade de Artes e Humanidades da USJ
No dia 20 de maio, concluímos os cursos de Língua e Cultura dos Países de Língua Portuguesa I e II com um jantar de confraternização. Este evento foi enriquecido pela generosa colaboração de Maria Veríssima Oliveira, mãe da Leitora Guimarães Rosa na Universidade de São José, Camila Oliveira Macêdo, que preparou uma autêntica feijoada brasileira, proporcionando aos alunos a oportunidade de vivenciarem um momento gastronômico e cultural do Brasil.
Além dos estudantes, o evento contou com a presença do diretor da Faculdade de Artes e Humanidades (FAH), Carlos Sena Caires, da Diretora do Departamento de Línguas e Cultura (DLC), Tânia Ribeiro Marques, e da professora Viviana Han. Foi uma verdadeira celebração da diversidade linguística e cultural que tanto prezamos em nossa universidade. Agradecemos sinceramente a presença de todos! A participação de cada aluno e convidado tornou esse momento ainda mais especial e memorável.
