ISE-USJ signed cooperation agreement with CIÊNCIAS - Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon

This cooperation agreement is aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation in various areas of common interest in the areas of Marine Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Earth Sciences.
The Institute of Science and Environment of the University of Saint Joseph Macao (ISE-USJ) signed a cooperation agreement with CIÊNCIAS – Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in Portugal, on the 5th of June, 2024. The agreement is aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation in various areas of common interest.
The agreement was signed on the premises of CIÊNCIAS by Professor Luís Carriço, Director of the Faculty of Sciences of ULisboa, and Professor David Gonçalves, Dean of ISE-USJ.
The main objective of the agreement is to promote collaboration in scientific research in the areas of Marine Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Earth Sciences, through the exchange of information and scientific material and the sharing of research facilities. The protocol also provides for a strong exchange of professors, researchers and students and the joint supervision of master’s and doctoral students.
This partnership reflects the clear commitment of both institutes to the internationalisation of their scientific research and researchers, with the aim of creating synergies to promote high-level research in science, engineering and technology.
