Prof. Vincent Yang presented at two ancillary meetings of 13th UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Congress.
With the invitation of Mr. Dimitri Vlassis, Executive Secretary for the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, and Dr. Ye Feng, Secretary General of International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, Prof. Vincent Cheng Yang, Pro-Rector of USJ, was invited as an individual expert to participate in this UN Congress in Doha during April 12-18, 2015.
He presented a paper “The Cross-border Game: Casinos, Crime and MLAT” at the session on “Responsible Gaming and Crime Prevention” and another paper “The Law to Protect Cyber Security: Some Canadian Experience” at the session on “Internet Finance and Crime Prevention”.
The United Nations holds the Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice once every five years to discuss important global issues. Over 2500 official delegates from all the countries in the world, international organisations and individual experts attended the 13th Congress.
