The University of Saint Joseph (USJ Macao) and the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce in Rome have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to forge a new academic partnership.

The MoU was signed remotely by Prof. Stephan Morgan, the Rector of USJ Macao and Rev. Prof. Luis Navarro, Rector of Pontificia Università della Santa Croce in Rome. This follows Rev. Prof. Luis Navarro’s first visit to USJ Macao on July 29, 2024, during which the two universities explored opportunities for deeper collaboration.

This partnership will enhance the academic and research opportunities available to our students and faculty, while also fortifying the ties between the two Catholic institutions of higher education. By working in close, both institutions can make valuable contributions to the fields of theology, philosophy, canon law, and communication studies, among others.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant step forward in the longstanding relationship between USJ Macao and the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce.
