School of Education Attends Inclusive Education Training at Chongqing Normal University

members of the School of Education participated in a three-day specialised training on inclusive education at the School of Educational Sciences of Chongqing Normal University.
Led by the Dean of the School of Education, Prof. Rochelle Ge, members of the School of Education participated in a three-day specialised training on inclusive education at the School of Educational Sciences of Chongqing Normal University. The training covered key topics such as the current status of special needs education, the shift from segregation to inclusion, and the use of assessment methods in the digital age for children with special needs. Participants also visited and participated in discussions at Chongqing Bishan Special Education School and Shuren Shaci Primary School.
The programme included a series of presentations on topics such as the practice and challenges of inclusive education in mainland China, the development of inclusive education in the West, and strategies for classroom management and school-family collaboration. The participants gained valuable insights into the application of inclusive education and successfully concluded the training.
