Prof. Arraut presented some of his new results related to symmetries in fundamental science at the “Generalized symmetries in QFT 2024”, held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP) in Kyoto University, Japan.

Prof. Ivan Arraut from the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) recently showcased his research results at the Generalized Symmetries in Quantum Field Theory 2024 conference, held at the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP) in Kyoto University, Japan, from September 30 to October 4, 2024.

During his presentation, Prof. Arraut shared his latest findings on symmetries in fundamental science, which have garnered significant attention and praise from the international academic community. His research spans both fundamental theory and practical applications, with notable insights into the options market.

The fundamental results presentation received high praise at the conference and from the renowned physicist Prof. Zohar Komargodski of Stony Brook University, a respected figure and winner of the prestigious “Breakthrough Prize in Physics” – a prize created to compete with the Nobel Prize in Physics. Prof. Komargodski expressed positively about Prof. Arraut’s lecture, calling it “a very nice lecture,” and provided valuable feedback that highlighted the importance of Prof. Arraut’s contributions to the field.

The conference attracted leading researchers and academics, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. Prof Arraut engaged in fruitful discussions with prominent figures in theoretical physics, strengthening USJ’s presence on the global academic stage.
