USJ holds Roundtable Conference on "Healthy Life and Nutritional Concerns for Teenagers in the Smart Era"

This roundtable conference was held for the first time at USJ, invited experts, scholars and related practitioners from the fields of sports science, nutritional science, psychology and other fields to discuss about “Healthy Life and Nutritional Concerns for Teenagers in the Smart Era”.
The Macau Observatory for Social Development of University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and The Macau Association for Community Care Children co-organised the “Healthy Life and Nutritional Concerns for Teenagers in the Smart Era 2024” Roundtable conference. This event was held at Don Bosco Auditorium in Ilha Verde on October 21, 2024.
This roundtable conference was held for the first time at USJ, invited experts, scholars and related practitioners from the fields of sports science, nutritional science, psychology and other fields, including Mr. Lam U Tou, Dr. Jacky Ho, Ms. Edith IM Long, Ms. Cleandy Lei and Dr. Lei Man Kit were the keynote speakers to discuss different topics with the audiences.
Prof. Jacky Ho, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at USJ, said “This roundtable mainly aims to promote social attention to the physical activity and nutritional intake of adolescents. We hope to use the opportunity to brainstorm with experts from various fields to explore how to provide more effective health education and counseling in the intelligent era, and do-in-action to encourage adolescents to build healthy lifestyle and eating habits”.
The Faculty of Health Sciences at USJ will continue to promote social attention to youth physical and mental health issues and inject strength into building a healthy Macao, which reflects the policy goals and measures of the Macao SAR government on youth development,
