Professors Rochelle Ge, Dean of the School of Education, and Hao Wu, Assistant Research Professor and Research Coordinator for the School of Education, attended the 2024 Artificial Intelligence Education Forum held at The Venetian Macao. This forum celebrated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region. The event focused on the theme “Future Classrooms, Artificial Intelligence, and Campuses,” bringing together educators and industry experts to explore the potential of AI in education.
Prof. Hao Wu delivered a speech titled “The Potential, Challenges, and New Directions of Artificial Intelligence in Educational Assessment,” where he discussed the transformative role of AI in assessing educational outcomes. The forum provided a platform for meaningful discussions on the integration of AI technologies in education, promoting collaboration and innovation in this rapidly evolving field.
