The “Fifth Mix n’ Match Entrepreneur Exchange Event” for Hong Kong, Macao and Hengqin was held in Hong Kong on 25th October 2024. The event was supported by the USJ to foster Hong Kong, Macao and Hengqin for entrepreneurial collaboration and talent development.
The ‘Fifth Mix n’ Match Entrepreneur Exchange Event’ for Hong Kong, Macao and Hengqin was successfully held in Hong Kong on 25th October 2024. The event was hosted by the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and supported by the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) to foster Hong Kong, Macao and Hengqin for entrepreneurial collaboration and talent development.
Over 40 enterprise representatives and university scientific research talents from Macao and Hengqin visited Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) and Chinese University of Hong Kong for an in-depth exchange with representatives of Hong Kong technology enterprise and entrepreneurial support units of INNOPORT CUHK and CUHK EMBA programme on topics such as corporate investment, industry-university-research cooperation, and talent development.
More than 10 high-tech enterprises from the delegation comprised of representatives in the cooperation zone, and over 30 university professors and aspiring students from the University of Saint Joseph Macao, and the Macau Alumni Association of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), aiming to assist enterprises from Hengqin and Macao to understand the latest frontier technology industrial developments in Hong Kong , in order to build up a common platform for interaction between enterprises and universities for the deepening of cooperation between Hong Kong, Macao and Hengqin.
The delegation visited the Exhibition Hall and Incubation Center of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, and was given an in-depth presentation by Mr. Gallen Leung, Assistant Director of the Entrepreneurship Programme regarding the different levels of assistance given to entrepreneurs at the HKSTP incubation and acceleration programmes. The delegation also had a chance to learn first hand from the latest incubatees from the HKSTP incubation programme.

Later, the delegation visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong hosted by the EMBA Programme Manager, Mr. Ken Lim and Innoport Manager, Ms. Christine Leung.

CUHK Innoport encourages entrepreneurs and professors to collaborate to create new businesses to serve the societies and promote networks for alumni and entrepreneurs to work together. The Uuniversity also welcomes entrepreneurs from Hengqin and Macao to explore collaborative opportunities.
