In an era where borders are increasingly blurred by digital connections, it is more important than ever to reflect on the complex relationships between space, sound, and culture. The concept of “geolocated media” invites us to reconsider how our physical environments inform our creative practices. This lecture will delve into the innovative intersections of sound art, open-source technology, and experimental music, highlighting the artistic innovations`.
About the Speaker:
Enrique Tomás is a sound artist and post-doc researcher who dedicates his time to finding new ways of expression and play with sound, art and technology. His work explores the intersection between sound art, computer music, locative media and human-machine interaction.
