The visit provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative research in early childhood literacy acquisition and to explore potential partnerships in the Greater Bay Area.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ)’s Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education (DLCRE) recently received Professor Wu Qiuping from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Sun Yat-sen University.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative research in early childhood literacy acquisition and to explore potential partnerships in the Greater Bay Area. Prof. Miranda Mak, Assistant Professor at USJ’s School of Education and Coordinator of DLCRE, welcomed Professor Wu and highlighted the Centre’s “Chinese Literacy Education and Research (CLEAR) Project”, which has extensive experience in serving schools in Macao and has published a range of educational resources.
