About the Activity:

Let’s kick off 2025 again by joining hands for a coastal clean-up in Coloane! Your participation will make a significant positive impact on keeping our coasts cleaner and our oceans safer.

This important activity is organized as part of the ISE project ‘From Shore to Society: Enhancing Social Awareness and Engagement towards Coastal Waste Management in Macao – SWEEP Macao.’ The project aims to assess the current state of social awareness and engagement with Macao’s coastal waste and propose improvement strategies. Additionally, this clean-up is a key initiative of the USJ Green Committee to promote clean and sustainable practices in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Venue: Beach behind TAM KONG TEMPLE in Coloane

Activities: Coastal Cleanup; Sorting and data recording using the newly developed SWEEP Macao App
