The Faculty of Social Sciences and Education is hosting the 5th Forum of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the 1st Forum of Organisational Psychology on the 28th of November.
This annual event is open for all students enrolled in the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MCP) and the Master of Organisational Psychology (MOP), and Professors of the Department of Psychology (DP). Alumni, other members of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education (FSSE) or anyone interested in themes related to psychological science are also welcome. The main purpose of this Forum is for the year 2 MCP/MOP master students to present and share their research projects to year 1 MCP/MOP master students. The forum is an opportunity for students to practice their communication skills and to interact and exchange ideas. This way, the former will have an opportunity to practice communication skills useful for their oral defense, and the latter will get ideas for their own research and how to organise their work. During the forum, the 2020 graduates will be awarded their internship certificates.
Programme:
- Presentation of the MCP dissertation with highest grade in the last academic year: “The Influence of Culture on Psychological Help-Seeking Behavior: A Study with the Filipino Community in Macau” by Madalena Zancan.
- Round table, the perspective of our professional associations “Psychology. One Science. Many Practices”:

- Cheung, Lik Hang from the Macao Counselling Association
- Nuno Gomes from the Macau Society of Registered Psychotherapists
