All USJ students with a passion for speech and the Chinese language are warmly invited to participate!
To celebrate Chinese Language Day, promote Putonghua and traditional Chinese culture, and enhance students’ language expression and artistic appreciation, the Department of Languages and Cultures, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Saint Joseph, proudly presents the Putonghua Speech Contest.
Theme: “Passing on the Voice of China, Appreciating the Beauty of the Language”
All USJ students with a passion for speech and the Chinese language are warmly invited to participate!
DETAILS
Format & Guidelines:
- Participants may perform individually or in groups.
- Choose poems, prose, or other literary works in Chinese Language that are related to Chinese culture.
- Recitation time must not exceed 5 minutes per performance.
Prizes:
- First Prize: 1 Winner
- Second Prize: 1 Winner
- Third Prize: 1 Winner
- Merit Prizes: All the registered contestants
