The Faculty of Social Sciences and Education is holding academic workshops on the basics of academic and dissertation writing. The English sessions will be held from Feb 23 until June 1, while the Chinese sessions will be held from Feb 25 until June 10, 2022.



The FSSE Academic Workshop Series is designed to support Faculty of Social Sciences and Education (FSSE)/USJ students by providing the necessary tools to enhance their academic learning and skills.

The first edition of the series comprises 10 sessions on the basics of academic and dissertation writing, with sessions on topics such as effective reading, choosing and using relevant sources, and guidelines for dissertation writing.

The workshops are relevant not only to Master students but also to other USJ students looking to develop their academic writing skills and/or are interested in pursuing further studies.
