The Department of Media, Arts, and Technology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of USJ is thrilled to announce “Moviement,” an immersive artistic event showcasing the graduation projects of the Bachelor of Communication and Media in the evening of May 16th at 6:30pm.
University of Saint Joseph proudly presents “Moviement,” an immersive exhibition showcasing the creative talents of its graduating class in Communications and Media. Centered around the theme of Movement. The diverse works capture the fluidity of Macau’s landscapes and the city’s perpetual transformation. Recognized by the Asia Education Review Magazine, the Communication and Media program at the University of Saint Joseph stands as a top-ranking course in Asia.
The exhibition invites viewers to contemplate the profound dynamics of human connections, emphasizing the transformative power of relationships. Additionally, the artworks celebrate individuality and self-acceptance, inspiring personal growth and empowerment, capturing the fluidity of Macao’s landscapes. The exhibition reflects the constant movement and transformation of the city, increasing awareness about environmental issues, societal consequences, and the need for sustainable solutions. The film screening complements the exhibition, offering a journey into the world of visual storytelling. “Moviement” aims to provoke reflection on the impact of movement in our lives, fostering a deeper understanding of our interconnected world.

Centrado no tema do Movimento, as diversas obras captam a fluidez das paisagens de Macau e a transformação perpétua da cidade. Reconhecido pela Asia Education Review Magazine, o curso de Comunicação e Mídia da Universidade de Saint Joseph é considerado um dos melhores programas de Comunicação e Média da Ásia.

“Moviement” is an immersive artistic event that blends a film screening with an exhibition, resulting in a celebration of the beauty of movement in all its forms with the Macao community at the heart of it. Through diverse artworks, it delves into the vibrant urban life of Macao, where the artists explore the literal and metaphorical meanings of movement.
The exhibition features a carefully curated selection of artworks, including photography, videography, and mixed-media installations, created by young talented local artists who have worked closely within the community.
