The Public Lecture “ART+ARCHITECTURE+DESIGN: Cultivating Business Synergies Through Creative Innovation”, organised by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, will take place on the 11th December in the Media Lab 604.
About the Talk:
At the dynamic intersection of business and culture, art and design innovation are becoming core drivers of value creation and competitive differentiation. This lecture will take a practical and insightful approach to exploring how artistic aesthetics and innovative design strategies can seamlessly integrate into commercial projects, creating distinctive and influential cultural experiences across diverse scenarios.
Through the presentation of internationally award-winning case studies, the speaker will illustrate the transformative potential of “Art+” in fostering cross-sector collaboration. The session will also delve into strategies for enhancing brand value while building a sustainable and thriving cultural business ecosystem.
About the Speaker:
Ms. Linwood Lin is the Chief Innovation Officer at Forward Fashion Holdings Company Limited, with over 20 years of senior management experience at leading companies like New World Development and Galaxy Entertainment Group. She is a skilled strategist who has built partnerships across retail, art, hospitality, and entertainment, curating internationally acclaimed projects. Ms. Lin spearheaded the establishment of Artelli, a premium art label and platform that collaborates with over 100 artists globally, curating exhibitions, fostering art education, and attracting over 10 million visitors within a year. Her innovative leadership has transformed Artelli into a cultural landmark in the Asia-Pacific. She also revitalized Galeries Lafayette Macau, into a premier shopping and lifestyle destination. With a BA in Media and Communication from the University of New South Wales, Ms. Lin excels in brand building, marketing, and cross-sector collaboration, positioning Forward Fashion at the forefront of art and business innovation.
