The Rev’d Professor Grégory Woimbée will present a Talk on “For My Eyes Have Seen Salvation: on the Credibility of Christianity” on October 10 at USJ.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
The Rev’d Professor Grégory Woimbée
Grégory Woimbée is a priest in the diocese of Perpignan, has a doctorate in theology from the Gregorian University and in history from the Sorbonne. He has been teaching since 2006. From 2014 until 2022, he has ween vice-rector for research at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse, and since 2015, director of the ICT’s ‘Culture, Ethics, Religion and Society’ research unit. He is now Interim Director of the Doctoral Programme at the Institut Catholique de Paris.
His main areas of research are the relationship between faith and reason, history and theology, the theology of credibility, Christology, ecclesiology, and the theological and philosophical foundations of politics.
