My architecture is to be built.
The built works are the final result of a complex process which starts at the very first mental image for the design. The lecture will show some built works over the years, their relation to topography, to materials, to building processes, to light, space and (e)motions. To users and citizens. To life.
About the Speaker
António Carvalho, PhD Arch, Dip Arch, OA.
He has been a practicing architect, directing his own office ANTONIO CARVALHO ARQUITECTURA E URBANISMO, LDA, for the past 26 years, in a large scope of projects and built works.
He has been teaching Design Studio at the Architecture’s Master at The Catholic University of Portugal for the past 10 years.
