The main aim of this workshop is to identify the key processes of the research process that together prompt a successful research program. The essentials of each of these processes will be highlighted and students will be challenged to identify their strong points and weaknesses at each level so that they became more aware of how to further develop their research skills. The teaching methods include oral presentations of concepts and ideas followed by in class practical exercises.

About the Seminar
The main aim of this workshop is to identify the key processes of the research process that together prompt a successful research programm. The essentials of each of these processes will be highlighted and students will be challenged to identify their strong points and weaknesses at each level so that they became more aware of how to further develop their research skills. The teaching methods include oral presentations of concepts and ideas followed by in class practical exercises.
The seminar is primarily aimed at candidates of the USJ doctoral programme. However, students from other levels and academic staff interested in developing their research skills are also welcome to participate. The seminar is free but seats are limited to 20. Sessions are relatively independent and participation in 1, 2 or the 3 sessions is possible, depending on seat availability. Please confirm which sessions you would like to attend by sending an email to david.goncalves@usj.edu.mo.
