The USJ Faculty of Business and Law, together with Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) and the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM), are hosting a Statistics Seminar on Friday, 19 April, at the Don Bosco Auditorium.
About the Seminar:
According to the Decree Law of Macao, only the statistics published by the authorized organizations in the Statistical Information System of Macao (SIEM), namely the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) and the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM), can be considered as official statistics.
At this Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) Masters’ Talk, representatives from the DSEC and the AMCM will introduce the compilation method, statistical analysis and optimization of the financial soundness indicator. The speakers will discuss the concept and accounting of the gross domestic product (GDP). An overview of Macao’s economic development, especially the recovery from the epidemic, will be given based on the GDP. At this talk, students will learn to easily interpret and grasp the statistical data.
