Year of Prayer Lecture Series | In Good Hope: Advent Mediation on Psalm 139

14

Dec

The Year of Prayer Lecture Series “In Good Hope: Advent Mediation on Psalm 139”, will take place on December 14 in the Penha Hill Chapel.

The Lecture/Recollection Talk takes place in collaboration with the Trappistine Community Our Lady Star of Hope  and with the Association of Male Religious of Macau (AMRM).

About the Talk:

The lecture meditates on the Prayer Book of Jesus, the Book of Psalms, especially as they express and deepen our daily relation with the living God. A special focus shall be on Psalm 139, its context and theological significance for Christian life, spirituality, and theology. Key themes include the wonder for the creation of human beings by God in the womb of the mother, the mystery of incarnation, of God becoming flesh as child in Bethlehem (Puer Natus Est), and God’s providence and hope-filled guidance in any situation of human life and history.
