USJ's SDG Week Unites Students, Faculty and Community Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) recently concluded its three-day SDG Week from November 13 to 15, celebrating its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A delegation from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), along with members representatives from Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Philippines visited USJ Macao and conducted benchmarking activities and explore partnership opportunities.

A delegation from the Leiria Region Community visited the University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ Macao) on the 8th of November, 2024, during its China mission 2024.
This year, more than one hundred students were recognized for their exceptional academic achievements. The scholarships were generously donated by 19 local institutions and individual donors, with a total of 175 awards this year, amounting to over MOP 9.3 million.
Sponsored by the Macau Foundation and supported by the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government of the Macao SAR, USJ organised a four-day exchange tour to Hangzhou from 2 to 5 November. Members of the delegation visited mainland universities for exchanges and visited local landmarks to gain a better understanding of the country.
USJ Macao signed a MoU with Zhaoqing University to establish a co-operative relationship and emphasised the importance of nurturing high-quality talents for the country and the Greater Bay Area, as well as promoting innovation in education.
In the year of the Double Celebration, USJ organised a series of lectures on national education in order to promote the understanding of teachers, students and the public on the country’s history, culture, social and political system.
Short-films from the USJ’s Bachelor of Communications and Media graduating class of 2023/2024 will be screened in the Auditório Luís Soares of Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD), Portugal, on November 14, as part of their 20th anniversary of “Imagens do Real Imaginado”.
