CDSJ5 F5 Students Experience USJ Campus Life

F5 students of Colégio Diocesano de São José 5 visited USJ for a campus tour and attended several workshops to experience a university campus life before their final year of non-tertiary education.



On the 27th of April, 2024, the Career Planning Team and F5 students of Colégio Diocesano de São José 5 (CDSJ 5) visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) for a campus tour and attended several parallel session of workshops to experience a university campus life before their final year of non-tertiary education.

The visiting students gathered together at the Holy Cross Chapel where Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice-Rector of USJ, warmly welcome the students and introduced the history and characteristics of USJ.

The students from CDSJ5 were divided into groups to participate four different workshops organised by the different faculties, these workshops include the “Fabrication Design Workshop” conducted by Prof. Gerald Estadieu and Prof. Sandra Ng, “Self-Exploration Workshop” conducted by the social work students under the supervision of Prof. Francisco Botelho and Prof. Stella O, “Product Marketing and Negotiation Workshop” conducted by Prof. Jenny Phillips and Prof. Ansoumane Douty Diakité, and “Applied Neuroscience Workshop” conducted by Mr. Qian Cheng (錢鋮) under the supervision of Prof. Alexandre Lobo.

The visit and tour provided the participants with valuable learning experiences in an international setting.
