DLCRE/GEGCLEAR project and DSEDJ co-organised a 12-hour teacher training program for kindergarten teachers in Dec 2022 and Jan 2023.
DLCRE/GEGCLEAR project and DSEDJ co-organised a 12-hour teacher training program for kindergarten teachers in Dec 2022 and Jan 2023. A total of 71 teachers participated in this program.
Titled ‘Early Childhood Education Professional Development Basic Course: Early Literacy Support’, this program was instructed by Dr. Miranda Mak, Assistant Professor of the School of Education from the University of Saint Joseph, and other professional speakers from the project. This program aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding of early childhood education and language theories and practices that support children’s development in Chinese literacy.
The ‘GEG Chinese Literacy Education and Research Project’ (GEGCLEAR) is funded by the Galaxy Entertainment Group Foundation and housed in the Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education (DLCRE).
