On 6 May 2019, an Ethnic Minority Culture Delegation Visited USJ

A delegation of 21 Ethnic Minority Culture Students and Staff, led by Prof Li Dongqing, paid a courtesy visit to the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) on May 6th, 2019.

The delegation was received by the USJ Rector, Prof. Fr. Peter Stilwell; Acting Vice-Rector, Prof. Rochelle Ge; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Prof. Alan Norman Baxter; and Director of Office for Student and Alumni Affairs, Ms. Teresa Loong.

The delegation was delighted with the dynamic performance of the USJ Music Club and the Capoeira dancers of the Alegria Brazilian Shows, followed by an exchange between the USJ Staff and Students during a lunch that counted with the presence of the Rector, Prof. Fr. Peter Stilwell.

A guided campus tour was given by Mr Tiago Monteiro of the Faculty of Creative Industries so the delegation could visit USJ’s facilities, including the Digital Cinema Studio, Sound Studio,  and 3-D Printing and Fashion Design works by Students and Staff.

The tour was coordinated by Prof. Emil Marques of USJ’s School of Business and Law and the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs. The activity was sponsored by Macao Foundation.
