USJ’s Faculty of Business and Law signed a Cooperation Agreement with Guangzhou Guangdong-Macau Juvenile Venture Technology Limited and Guangzhou Macao Youth Technology Development Co. Ltd. at the 28th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair.
The Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), represented by the Faculty’s Dean, Prof. Jenny Phillips, signed a Cooperation Agreement with Guangzhou Guangdong-Macau Juvenile Venture Technology Limited and Guangzhou Macao Youth Technology Development Co. Limited on October 20, during the 28th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (MIF) on October 20, adding these two companies to their repertoire of partners in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The two new partners run three incubator hubs in Guangzhou’s Panyu and Huangpu districts. The cooperation forms a strategic partnership between the three parties for entrepreneurship education, resource matching, research cooperation, employment and internships, and cultural exchanges.
The FBL’s GBA network project aims to establish partners in all GBA cities to facilitate out-of-classroom learning and support students in understanding the business environment in the different GBA cities. The partnerships also contribute to the Faculty’s incubator project Macau Spin, which provides support to startups in entering the GBA market.
Since the development of the GBA network in 2021, the FBL has established strategic partnerships with organisations including Sany (Zhuhai) Investment Co., Ltd. in Hengqin, Niu+ SPACE in Guangzhou, KIM U International Advertising Event Planning Co., Ltd. for connection to organisations in the GBA cities, and the France Macau Chamber of Commerce.
