FAH/DCI students and professors participated in the 2021 Golden Lotus International Design Competition with awards

Architecture and Design students, as well as professors from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities/Department of Creative Industries, participated in the 2021 Golden Lotus International Design Competition in the Architectural Design and Soft Decoration categories.

The 7th Macao International Design Exhibition (Biennale) Award Ceremony, held on the 29th November 2021, at The R&D building of Macao Institute of Technology, Macao Polytechnic Institute (Campus da Taipa), Macao conferred the awards to the winners of the 2021 “Golden Lotus Cup” International (Macao) College Student Design Competition and the 7th “Golden Lotus Cup” International Design Masters Invitational Competition.

This year, students from the Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Bachelor of Design programmes from the Department of Creative Industries (DCI), Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), participated in the competition. Students received Silver, Bronze and Excellence awards in the Architectural Design, Interior Design and Soft Decoration categories.

With the strong support of relevant authorities of the Macao SAR Government, the Macao International Design Federation organises the Macao International Design Exhibition every year. It has been successfully held six times and has received high support and recognition from the industry.
