The Business Club visited Kai Tak Sports Park, GainTree Education House, and Life To Life Limited during its field trip to Hong Kong on Saturday, 8th March 2025.

Since its establishment in 2015, the Business Club of the USJ Student Association has been committed to promote learning and practical applications of business knowledge to university students. Besides participating in inter-university competitions, the Business Club organizes field visits to private enterprises and public institutions to broaden students’ understanding and experiences of the local, regional, and global business environments.

This year, the Business Club is sponsored by the USJ Faculty of Business and Law to organise a field visit to Hong Kong. The group was warmly received by GainTree Education House, a 5,000-square-foot education community center that is strategically located at the heart of Kai Tak Sports Park. GainTree is a shared platform for elites from different fields, ranging from sports to arts and from English language training to elderly education. The Co-Founders, Mr. Victor Ma JP, Ms. Yoyo Lo, and Mr. Kelvin Ma, gave students an in-depth presentation of the philosophy and the model of their business. Guided by GainTree, the Business Club toured the newly inaugurated Kai Tai Sports Park, including world-class venues for sports, entertainment, retail, dining, art and cultural exhibitions, and leisure events.

As part of the team building activity, the Business Club also visited Life To Life Limited, a social enterprise that promotes inclusive education through board games. The CEO, Mr. Yick Long Hang and the COO, Mr. Lee Pui Kin shared the story of their social entrepreneurship and introduced board games that could be adopted as teaching tools in business classes. The Business Club Mentor, Prof. Florence Lei also exchanged ideas with Life To Life on a board game designed by the Business Club in 2022, called the Werewolves of Business Street.
