The “Macao Basic Law Chinese and English Handwriting Competition 2023”, held on-campus on the 17 October 2023, attracted more than 30 USJ participants to join.
The “Macao Basic Law Chinese and English Handwriting Competition 2023” was held on the Ilha Verde Campus on the 17 October 2023. The Competition, sponsored by the Macao Foundation, was divided into Chinese and English calligraphy sections, attracting more than 30 USJ students to participate.
This event is aimed to promote the Chinese and English calligraphy art, as well as encouraging students’ to be more familiar with the Macao Basic Law.
Ten winners were invited to the award ceremony on 14 December at the USJ bamboo pavilion. The awarding ceremony was hosted by the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs. The Chinese calligraphy winner was awarded to Lee Chi San (PGDE, YEAR 1) and the English calligraphy winner was Tang Qinghua (MDS, YEAR2).
