On Thursday, March 14th 2019, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) had the honour of receiving Ambassador Paulo Cunha Alves, Consul-General of Portugal in Macao and Hong Kong, for a courtesy visit to USJ’s Ilha Verde Campus.
The Ambassador, in his first visit to the USJ’s new campus, was welcomed by the Rector, Prof. Fr. Peter Stilwell, the Acting Vice-Rector, Prof. Rochelle Ge, and the Director of the Public and International Relations Office, Mrs. Ana Paula Mota, before touring the campus facilities and meeting some of our senior management and academic staff members.
This visit comes in the sequence of a long tradition of close relationships with the Portuguese Consulate in Macao, which USJ greatly cherishes and holds in high regard.
